Kansas Farmers Union wishes fellow ag leader well during his recovery

Last week fellow Kansas agriculture leader, Jere White with the Kansas Corn Growers Association, was in a motorcycle accident. Kansas Farmers Union wishes him well and hopes he has a quick recovery.

The following information was obtained from Hawver News Service:

Jere White, executive director of the Kansas Corn Growers Association since 1988, remains hospitalized after being critically injured Sept. 28 in a motorcycle accident in northwest Arkansas.

White, of Garnett, is at Mercy Hospital in Springfield MO.

White also is executive director of the Kansas Grain Sorghum Producers Association and the Kansas Corn Commission.

A fund has been established to help his family with expenses related to his hospitalization. Donations may be sent to the Jere White Fund, c/o Bank of Greeley, PO Box 80, Greeley KS 66033. Cards for him and his family are being collected at the association’s office and may be mailed to Jere White, KCGA/KGSPA, PO Box 446, Garnett KS 66032.
